Anti Wrinkle
This is made of a naturally purified protein and neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. When injected into an area, it blocks certain chemical signals from the nerves that cause muscles to contract. The most common use of these injections is to relax the facial muscles to promote anti-aging properties that cause frown lines, forehead lines and other facial wrinkles to smooth out.
One of the main benefits, and arguably the most popular, of anti-wrinkle treatment is the ability to reduce frown lines, crow’s feet and all types of other facial wrinkles.
When the facial muscles are relaxed this allows wrinkles, like lines on the forehead, to be improved and loosen the skin safely and effectively.
Another benefit is correcting your negative expressions such as the DAO muscle for example, which is responsible for the sad-looking face, this depressor muscle pulls the corners of the mouth downward making you look sad and grumpy. By treating this muscle with neurotoxin injection, it will soften the sad or angry look on your face thereby correcting the negative expression.
TMJ/teeth grinding/jaw clenching/Feminisation- for those people who hate their bulky masseter muscles and involuntary teeth grinding called bruxism, this treatment might be something to consider. Anti-wrinkle product is injected into the masseters in the lower jaw to block the nerve signals. Once the jaw becomes thin in a month the effect will show a much slimmer lower face.
There is little to no downtime in getting anti-wrinkle treatments. You can go back to work after receiving anti-wrinkle injections.

Risk of bruising is very common, but this will always get better in a few days post treatment.
When “overly done” there’s always a risk of a lack of expression.
Brow or lid droop, uncommon but can happen to anyone receiving anti-wrinkle treatment. If it does, the droop is only temporary and will go away by itself in a couple of weeks.

Lip Fillers
Lip fillers are made from a naturally occurring substance found in our body called hyaluronic acid which helps retain moisture and hydration to the lips. Fillers restore volume to your lip, but they do not stop ageing process, but they might delay the need for more invasive lip procedure or implants.

Bruising and Swelling is the most common and can last for a couple of hours up to 10 days depending on one’s reaction to fillers.
Tiny lumps and bumps can start to appear 24-48hours post lip enhancement. Often they are short-term and will go away in a couple of days. This can be corrected by your trained medical professional.
Irregularities and scarring in rare cases but can be a possible side effects.
In some cases, can lead to asymmetry that will last until the effects of filler wears off.
Although extremely rare, clumping of fillers causes hard lumps that could develop under your lip that can be surgically removed.

Then a set of consent forms, financial consent and photo release form is completed by you prior to getting the prescription given by our cosmetic doctor after you have been approved to receive the treatment. An assessment and consultation is done prior to treatment, and you will need to complete a consent form.
Numbing cream is applied to the surface of the areas to be treated.
Potenza RF microneedling treatment uses ultrafine needles and radio-frequency waves to penetrate the top layer of the skin and trigger the body’s natural healing process to regenerate new collagen and elastin.
The microtip is placed on the epidermis, microneedles penetrate the tissue in numerous settings for depth of treatment and a number of passes and penetrations are done during treatment that will affect the results. The duration of treatment may vary, but typically it is 45 minutes to 1 hour.
You may return to your normal activities following your session. Avoid exercising or overheating in the next 24-48 hours post treatment. You are advised to use gentle products post treatment. Avoid unprotected sun exposure for a week post treatment.
The collagen and elastin building typically takes place 4-6 weeks post treatment, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks after the last treatment.
The number of Potenza RF treatments will depend on many factors including the severity of your skin condition, age, your skin type and how your body responds to the treatment. Most people will need at least 3 and 6 treatments to see significant results. Maintenance may be recommended over time to promote long term results and benefits as you continue to age.
This treatment is contraindicated to people who have implantable devices such as a pacemaker or defibrillator, breastfeeding and pregnancy, those undergoing immunotherapy or chemotherapy, HIV/AIDS and/or cancer in all forms, kidney and liver damage, hemorrhagic diseases and taking long term prednisone use.
Tear Trough Fillers
A treatment involving dermal filler injectable placed beneath the lower eyelids above the eye socket bone to address volume loss and peri orbital hollowing.
The filler is painlessly injected via a soft cannula to the area once it’s anaesthetised.
Not everyone is suitable to have tear trough fillers. Careful patient selection is the key to successful treatment outcomes. That’s why it’s essential to choose your clinician carefully and with due diligence.

Plasma Rich Platelet (PRP)
PRP consists of 2 elements; the plasma or the liquid portion of the blood and the platelets, a type of blood-cell that plays an important role in healing our body. Platelet is known for its clotting abilities, however, it also contains growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration (healing in treated areas).
It is used for various conditions from musculoskeletal pain, injuries and cosmetic procedures.
Used for accelerated healing after a jaw or plastic surgeries.
Used for people who suffer osteoarthritis to relieve the pain and stiffness by modulating joint environment and by reducing the swelling.

Prior to your appointment, we strongly advise our patient to be kept well hydrated a night before their appointment for venepuncture.
An assessment and consult is done and a completion of consent form is signed prior to treatment. After that, our cosmetic doctor will have a chat to you before we start the treatment.
Following the consult, blood is collected in a blood tube and placed in a centrifuge. While the process of separating the RBC and PRP is happening, we will numb your face, hands or neck for 15 minutes with a numbing gel.
We then clean your face with gauze and chlorhexidine solution, and we start the treatment. After the injecting finishes, you will be placed under a LED light.
You will also be given an after care instruction to bring home.
